MISCA Awards
The Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association bestowed its year-end honors on quite a few locals recently.
Pioneer's Sho Koba, who won two individual events and two relays in state record times, was named Division 1 swimmer of the year. Pioneer's Denny Hill, who captured his 25th state title, received Division 1 coach of the year. And Milan's Kyle Schroeder, who won his second straight state title, was honored with Division 2 diver of the year.
