Pioneer swimmers win all but one event

Many Pioneers place in 128-58 victory over Grosse Pointe North

The Pioneer High School boys swim team spread the wealth Saturday. 

The host Pioneers (10-1) won 11 of the 12 events as they beat Grosse Pointe North 128-58, but they had no individual double winners. 

They also had a first-place tie as Sho Koba and Patrick Whitehead both clocked a time of 1 minute, 4.44 seconds in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Other individual winners were Robert Steele (200 individual medley), Dustin Hennigar (50 freestyle), Russ Bornschein (diving), David Greiner (100 butterfly), David Curtis (100 freestyle), Jason Hass (500 freestyle) and Chris Buck (100 backstroke).
