Pioneer churns out a perfect swim meet

Blowout victory results in 8 individual winners vs. Catholic Central

The Pioneer High School boys swim team was simply dominating Saturday afternoon in its 144-42 win over visiting Detroit Catholic Central. 

The Pioneers (14-1) won all 12 events, were second in 10 and third in six. They went 1-2 six times and 1-2-3 four more. 

Their individual winners were Chris Buck (50-yard freestyle, 100 backstroke), Jason Hass (100 freestyle), Devin Talbot (200 freestyle), Sho Koba (500 freestyle), Mark Buster (200 individual medley), Russ Bornschein (diving), David Curtis (100 butterfly) and Peter Keeler (100 breaststroke). 

Pat Buck swam on all three winning relays. 

No one else swam on more than one relay for Pioneer.
